Am I too arrogant to win or just not concentrated enough

Hey people, please take a look at my last three games. I had a big advantage against Dima and in the first game against Fer7777, but then I suddenly lost my queen in all three games in absolutely avoidable situations... What is it? Am I having a just a bad day, is it carelessness, arrogance or just the effect of continuing to play although I am still pissed off after losing the previous game?
You missed a ton of tactics every second move and this is a classical game not fast time control, I suggest you to work on your tactics doing puzzles.
Hello, were you already short on time when you gave your queen in these games? It may happen in that case but if you still had a lot of time, I think you should check more carefully which squares are forbidden before making your moves.
Thanks for your suggestions, but the thing is... there is a difference between not simply knowing that you need to protect undefended pieces and a sudden lack of any attention in a game which you were actually winning until the blackout came... So my question is not why I lost these games, but rather why I did not manage to keep up the concentration until the end. Of course you cannot look into my head, but maybe you can tell from your own experience what the matter could be...

I have to say, in the first game I clearly underestimated my opponent, so I paid not so much attention at my defense, but I have no explanation for the two games after that. Those are mistakes I don't make that often.
(Almost) everyone has a tendency to stop thinking when the game is at his advantage (I'm talking about an important one), you just need to conciously fight this tendency until it becomes natural to stay focused.
Instead of just thinking about your own moves, think about the opponent's moves too. For example in the game in #7, you would ask yourself 'why did he move the queen there' and you would see that it's attacking your rook. Make a habit of doing this after every move and you'll stop hanging pieces
Focus and concentration have to be developed/trained, like many other skills.

If you haven't developed them yet, then chess is a good hobby to do so.

There's no magic bullet here : to keep concentration... just consciously focus :-)
