I hadn't checked this particular game, just picked the first i caught where White plays this setup.
I'm not claiming that this is necessarily leading to much for White nor do I claim to know this well since I never had to seriously prepare for this. All I can tell you that in Blitz games from the Black side it feels difficult to play, while from the White side (in the rare cases where I go 1.e4) it feels pleasant. The White guys play themselves, the Black guys require some effort.
