Can we have rated correspondence games in all variances back?

OK I've just been recreating some various positions vs stockfish in a few different variances. To see if cheating is possible.

Crazyhouse. Opening Explorer doesn't recognise the bank of pieces that each player can drop on to the board at any time. Therefore anyone wishing to cheat at this variant isn't able to. Thus rated games should be allowed.

Hoard chess. Anyone recreating a chess game with only one king on the board will come up short because as soon as you try to run the engine an 'invalid fen' notice appears. Therefore anyone wishing to cheat at this variant isn't able to. Thus rated games should be allowed.

Threecheck. As far as I can tell Opening Explorer doesn't recognise that the third check is mate because the best move shown is hardly ever a threecheck move. Same goes with the King Of The Hill variant. Opening Explorer does not appear to recognise that King in the middle is mate and never shows any moves leading the King to the middle via sacrifices or clearance tactics as the best move. Therefore anyone wishing to cheat at these variants aren't able to. So both these variants should be available in casual and rated.

I could go on about other variances but I think I've made my point.

As far as I know standard Chess and Chess 960 are the only two variants that some scumbag wishing to cheat by recreating a position and running through an engine can actually do so. Because Opening Explorer recognises them.

I've only recently found lichess.org and I am hooked. Its quite simply a superb website so smooth and slick and everything is so easy to find. No annoying ads and features galore. I strongly urge Lichess mods to reconsider allowing correspondence of all variants both casual and rated.

No matter what game you chose to play in life there are cheats who look to gain an edge one way or another. It's just something we all have to live with. Please don't punish the rest of us by taking away what is in my opinion the best feature on Lichess.org

As for cheats who hope to get on leaderboards by playing only 1500 rated players. Surely that can happen in any variant at any time control. Another thing we just have to live with.

Actually, modified versions of Stockfish do play all the variants on lichess, and the opening explorer does work in other variants, and does handle drops.
On the left of the analysis board is a menu that can be used to select all eight variants on lichess, and the engine works (and gives good moves) in all of them.
I have not analysed the three-check opening explorer very deeply, but the engine does count the number of checks, for example, in the initial position, the evaluation is +1.6, if white is given one check (by changing the FEN), that goes up to +7.6 (depth 21), and giving white two checks yields mate in six, on the other hand, giving black one check yields -4 (depth 21).
