It’s crunch time as we head onto the final month of the 11th Correspondence League – with titles, promotions and relegations all set to be decided.

The final three rounds will all be played simultaneously from Saturday, and the beauty of the format means no promotions have yet been confirmed and the only relegations are down to withdrawals.

Here is how things stand in your group ahead of rounds seven, eight and nine. A reminder – if two players finish on the same score, the following tiebreaks will apply in this order:

#1: Points vs. tied participants
#2: Match wins
#3: Sonnerborn-Berger score against group (not calculated in these league tables).

I’ve tried to include the various tiebreaks in the tables.

Group N (Extra group)
1. ukristen P5 Pts 10 (Sonnenborn-Berger calculation required with techandchess)
2. techandchess P6 Pts 10
3. Craigveitch P4 Pts 8
4. polux3 P6 Pts 7
5. slitchice P5 Pts 6
6. Sequoia_giganteum P6 Pts 5
7. Barry312 P6 Pts 4
8. tukan_0630 P6 Pts 3 (Sonnenborn-Berger calculation required with Dr_Acula666)
9. Dr_Acula666 P6 Pts 3
10. kobajagrande P6 Pts 0

It's looking like a three-way fight for the group title between pacesetter ukristen, techandchess and craigveitch. Both polux3 and slitchice have a slim chance, but must rely on the top three slipping up. The round 9 match between techandchess and ukristen could be pivotal.

Although there is no fixed promotion from the extra groups, placings in the 12th league will be based on both rating and league performance, so there's still plenty to play for for all competitors.

Best of luck to all competitors in your final three games!
