I was wondering if anyone here had read the English version of the book in the title. It looks like an interesting book which tells some important moments in the history of chess.
Did you find it well written?
I have received for Christmas a copy of this book translated in French and I am under the impression that the translation is very poor, not performed by a professional with obvious mistakes in almost every sentence. So I was wondering if it came from the fact that the writer himsellf writes also in poor English or if the person who translated the book just does not know both how to write French and how to translate from English.
