2020 Bruce Bowyer, Nagib Gebran and Nick Conticello Memorial

National Master Bruce Bowyer, National Master Nagib Gebran and National Master Nick Conticello were all prominent members of the New York chess community and were friends. Last year, Bruce Bowyer's sister Pat hosted the 20th Annual Bruce Bowyer Memorial and unfortunately the 21st had to be canceled due to Covid-19. Likewise, our 2nd Annual Nagib Memorial blitz tournament, which was supposed to take place at Asiam Thai Cuisine on March 25, had to be cancelled. In February 2020, Nick Conticello passed. On June 27, 2020, Nick Conticello's birthday, we will have a memorial tournament from 4:45 PM to 7:00 PM EST to commemorate Bruce, Nagib, and Nick. Tournament will be 5-round G/10 Swiss with 5 second delay. We will have $100 in prizes, sponsored by Pat Bowyer:
