Playing experience
I have played extensively over the Southern African region.I am three-time National Champion.I have represented Zimbabwe as a member of the Mens team .
Teaching experience
Teaching requires patience and experience .Iam poroud to say i have been coaching Chess for close to 20 years now!
Best skills
My key area and goal with with students is to sharpen tactical intuition. To give them a feel for dynamic positions.
Teaching methodology
I strive to teach the student "how to think" Not what to think...My approach is non linear and adaptive as i feel this more closely resembles how chess strength actually grows.Focus is placed on studying tactics and strategy through ones own games as well ad those of the masters of Chess! Feedback through training exercises.pgn analysis and regular chats .
