Teaching experience
I have given chess lessons on online services like Discord for 4+ years and I recently have begun in-person chess lessons as well.
Other experiences
I've taught academic subjects including mathematics for over 3 years which has given me a better understanding on how to teach students.
Best skills
I am very knowledgable about positional chess, pawn structures, and specific openings in 1. e4 as white and the Caro-Kann and Slav as black (and various other openings of course).
Teaching methodology
The first lesson is typically geared towards understanding your strengths and weaknesses as well as who you are as a chess player (style, likes, dislikes, etc...). Following that, I conduct game analyses and give lessons specifically on your weaknesses. I am also open to taking your suggestions and doing lessons based on what you want to do.
