Machine Games always showing as waiting for opponent

This was only in the last few days, but I've noticed that I can't get through a game with the machine without it going into "waiting for opponent" mode. This happens multiple times in a single game, as opposed to before where I didn't have to wait for the AI's move.
Is this a known issue, and is there a fix?

Thanks for reporting! I've noticed the same and it warrants a fix indeed. However it is a very weird issue as it's been working fine for a long while.

A suspicious AI server has been restarted and it now works fine again. Playing with AI is now seamless for me again.
