Reconnecting to Lichess

When I go to the site in the browser or mobile application, a red reconnection sign is shown. Lichess shows that I am offline and I cannot play games, but I can watch Lichess TV or tournament games. This topic was also created by me “offline”. How to restore the connection or has anyone encountered a similar problem?

It only happens when your internet connection is low, but you can still see the games, Lichess TV etc. as they already loaded to you. But it failed to load the other stuff and that's why you can't play and it shows reconnecting. You have to wait until your connection is good.

Other sites and online games work without any lags, I don’t think that Lichess requires a better Internet connection than CS2

this happens to me as well, and my case is probable because websockets won't work for some reason

the internet is like roads some can have no traffic others potholes use:lichess.org/account/network
to try a fix it

lost few winning clssical games bcoz of reconnecting issue .Lichess should give atleast 2 -3mins in such cases.

liches gives 40*time control for disconnect time for the whole game (time is in seconds).
also try lichess.org/account/network or change dns
