Sick of losing to leaving game even tho i never left

This happens to me too often. I make a move then wait forever for my opponent to make a move, then it says that I left the game when i really didn't.
This is a very aggravating and frustrating way to lose rating points

I am afraid of refreshing the page because my opponent could just claim victory during the brief moment I am refreshing

There was never any disconnected message or anything!
What am I supposed to do? Is it my fauly or lichess'??

Someone help :(.

Same happens to me. Today a player claims victory, I have 10 min on clock, up 2 advanced pawns.
