Draw offers not in line with rules of chess.

Draws should not be able to be withdrawn once offered until your opponent completes his move. This is the text from FIDE, but so far as I know this is the same in every single federation. Being able to withdraw a draw offer opens up room for meta-gaming and angling with no discernible benefit.

- A player wishing to offer a draw shall do so after having made a move on the chessboard and before stopping his clock and starting the opponent’s clock. An offer at any other time during play is still valid but Article 12.6 must be considered. No conditions can be attached to the offer. In both cases the offer cannot be withdrawn and remains valid until the opponent accepts it, rejects it orally, rejects it by touching a piece with the intention of moving or capturing it, or the game is concluded in some other way.
sometimes i press the draw offer button by mistake instead of pressing the take back button.
LM OhNoMyPants. How do you withdraw a draw offer on lichess? I can't see no button. Strangely my opponents have withdrawn draw offers against me though.
A fair observation. The most likely explanation is that the withdraw function exists to stop someone clicking it by accident and having to accept a draw in a winning position; this is computer chess, mouse slips happen all the time – that's why we have the 'takeback' button.

If you had to click the draw button twice, like when resigning, then this problem would be eliminated and the withdraw function could be removed.
@flippy33 This would come with the funny consequence that you miight accidentally resign, since you're double clicking anyway so that protection for accidental resignation doesn't work.
#2 take back is much more illegal than a slight deviation from drawing rules !
#6 Takeback can be declined by opponent. Withdrawing draw offers can't be controlled by opponent.
#1 I agree, although I thought lichess already fixed this?
