I think the CAPTCHA puzzles on the forum should be harder

Does anyone think there should be checkmate in two, three, four on the CAPTCHA for this forum.

Not only can we have great posts and good conversation we can improve our chess and reduce the number of troll posts as we all know trolls hate solving chess puzzles. :)

It's just a setting you can decide if you want harder CAPTCHA puzzles. It's a silly feature but still useful. chill out #2 and #3

@DaanNoordenbos It is useless to you, it is useful to me. those CAPTCHA puzzles are the only chess puzzles I ever solve :)

Call the idea stupid or silly but don't sneer at my freedom to think it useful. We are all here together sharing something and all have different likes and dislikes.

Unlike most on here i'm probably the worst programmer among you but we all know the coding involved is trivial a conditional if statement on a user setting called CAPTCHA difficulty selects Easy, Medium or Hard positions is hardly a hard coding task.

There is something called tactics training.

@DaanNoordenbos Ok let me try again. A forum is a place for exchanging views, some of those views might new and strange and silly to you.

A forum is not a tactics training which is precisely why it would be useful for those who struggle to practice tactics in more formal settings.

The point is made silly or not you can't invalidate my right to make the point.

I think we all got the fact you don't like the idea fine, lets here from others :)

I don't like the idea either. The purpose of a captcha is to prevent automated forum spam, which it seems to have achieved. Having more difficult puzzles would serve only to prevent weak human players from posting on the forum, or at least make it less straightforward to post.

If you want puzzles, do training.
