I don't know which statement from FIDE is more ridiculous: the fact that they are the ONLY non-profit body, or the are actually a non-profit body. Thank you Lichess for all you do!

what does body mean in the context FIDE used it?
I'm thinking governing body. I wouldn't call lichess a governing body?
edit:
I looked at this
> FIDE Director General Emil Sutovsky said in an interview that FIDE is the only non-profit chess body.
I thought governing body might be the meaning, but now looking at the speech to text captions, body appears to be mean organisation/association/group of people.
registered body is the word I was looking for.
did they mean governing body or registered body?
the national level chess bodies like USCF, are they for profit?
